Perry Homes is proud to celebrate an incredible achievement at the HIA Awards, taking home three awards across the Northern NSW and Hunter regions.

‍

Recognising excellence in residential construction, design and innovation, these awards are a testament to our team’s commitment to creating homes that combine thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and the way people want to live.

‍

From a purpose-built waterfront residence to a family-focused display home and a beautifully detailed coastal ensuite, each award-winning project showcases a different aspect of what makes a Perry Home special.

‍

Northern NSW Region | Purpose Built Project

‍

A waterfront home designed around lifestyle and flexibility

‍

Our Northern NSW award recognises a purpose-built waterfront residence that brings together thoughtful design, functionality and long-term flexibility.

‍

Set on a battleaxe block, the home was carefully designed to maximise waterfront views while maintaining privacy and a cohesive street presence. The main residence features three bedrooms, with the open plan kitchen, living and dining area, along with the master bedroom and ensuite, positioned to make the most of the waterfront outlook and natural light.

‍

What makes this project particularly special is the integration of a fully self-contained one-bedroom secondary dwelling, designed for independent short-term holiday accommodation. With separate access, kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities, both residences operate independently while maintaining a consistent architectural style and high standard of construction.

‍

Finished with a coastal-inspired façade and material palette suited to its waterfront setting, this home demonstrates how considered design can deliver a beautiful residence that is as practical as it is adaptable.

‍

Hunter Region | Display Home of the Year ($500,000–$550,000)

‍

The Grayson: contemporary coastal living for modern families

‍

The Grayson was recognised for its thoughtful approach to family living, combining a striking exterior with relaxed coastal interiors and a floorplan designed to meet the needs of modern households.

‍

From calming greens and ocean blues to natural timber finishes, the home's carefully selected palette creates a welcoming atmosphere throughout. Its spacious layout balances open plan living with dedicated spaces for privacy, including a parents’ retreat and a separate children's zone complete with an activity area.

‍

At the heart of the home, the expansive kitchen, living and dining area brings everyone together. A feature skylight floods the kitchen with natural light, while the generous walk-in pantry and seamless connection to the outdoor entertaining area make everyday living and hosting family and friends a pleasure.

‍

A separate media room adds another layer of flexibility, while the outdoor terrace overlooking the swimming pool completes the home's relaxed, resort-inspired feel.

‍

Winning Display Home of the Year in its category is a wonderful recognition of the Grayson's design, functionality and appeal and of our commitment to creating homes that families can genuinely imagine themselves living in.

‍

‍

Hunter Region | Bathroom of the Year (under $25,000)

‍

A coastal-inspired ensuite with resort-style appeal

‍

Sometimes, it's the finer details that make all the difference.

‍

Our award-winning ensuite at the Forster display home showcases how thoughtful design and carefully selected finishes can transform a functional space into a relaxing, resort-style retreat.

‍

A freestanding bath beneath a large picture window creates a beautiful focal point, complemented by a double vanity with white engineered stone and light walnut cabinetry. Full height white tiles enhance the sense of space, while blue feature tiles in the shower and bold terrazzo flooring introduce texture, colour and personality.

‍

Brushed nickel tapware, integrated storage, considered lighting and a heated towel rail complete the space, balancing everyday practicality with a refined coastal aesthetic.

‍

Every element has been carefully considered, from the material selections to the finer construction details, demonstrating that creating a beautiful bathroom is about more than appearance alone. It's about getting the details right and delivering a space that feels just as good to use as it looks.

‍

‍

Three awards, one shared commitment to quality

‍

Each of these award-winning projects is different, but they share the same foundations: considered design, attention to detail, quality construction and a commitment to creating homes that work for the people who live in them.

‍

Whether it's maximising the potential of a unique waterfront site, designing a home around the needs of a growing family or creating a bathroom that feels like a private retreat, we're proud to deliver homes where functionality and design go hand in hand.

‍

A huge thank you to our team, trades, suppliers and everyone who contributes to bringing our homes to life. These awards are a reflection of the care, skill and collaboration that go into every project.

‍

We're incredibly proud of these three achievements and look forward to continuing to create homes that inspire.
